"I just got my wisdom teeth out and my gf got me P12. Pho Tai / Rare-Steak Pho broth and the Pina Colada. The pho broth is so flavorful by itself. If I lived in Fresno I would definitely get this as my everyday recovery meal. The bahn mis looked very delicious as well. It was a big portion. The vermicelli bowl as well as the pho was a big portion too. Once I'm healed I'll be going back to try everything else!!"

"Ever since I've tried their pho for the first time I was hooked. I'd say it's some of the best 10. Rare Steak Pho / Phở Tái in Fresno, but I haven't been to many other places. But it's definitely my favorite out of the few places I have tried. I've been so hooked on their pho that I've been ordering a large bowl every week for the past month now. The flavors are all there. Not too sweet or salty. Just right. They give you a good amount of noodles and broth. Plenty of garnishes as well and a decent amount of meat. I wonder if they recognize my name yet lol. I'm super happy to have this place so close to me.
I also order their 4. Spring Roll / Gỏi Cuốn every time I get the pho cuz it's so good and I'm addicted to their peanut butter sauce, the size of their spring rolls is pretty good too.
I tried their 7. Chicken Wings / Cánh Gà Chiên for the first time also and can't say that I've had better, they're pretty tasty and have a nice crunch to them. They're a decent size as well.
This is my favorite Asian restaurant now and I hope they get used to seeing my name pop up often cuz I can't get enough. Once I find a good spot with real good food, I will always come back for more. "

I'm from the Bay Area and everytime I go I order the same lemongrass 24. Vermicelli Noodle Grilled Pork & Eggrolls / Bún Thịt Nướng Chả Giò. I couldn't find anywhere in Fresno that made it like home.
Theirs is FANTASTIC. I'm actually going to out it above what I normally get at home. Crisp veggies, delicious grilled pork and a generous portion, fried shallots and peanuts. As well as the egg roll and sauce.
My #14 Kids Pho was very good sans meatballs. I've never had these type of meatballs before but for me the texture was not appetizing. I'm almost positive they were made right and delicious. I'm just particular.

"53. Larb i will say the portion size is great. The cabbage could have been a larger chunk, as the thin piece i got easnt big enough to wrap any meat. This Larb was not what i expected, and i have eaten Larb in many Thai restaurants prior to this. In this the flavors were all wrong, IMO. all I could taste was sugar and basil. i got no taste of lemongrass, fish sauce, and no umami from rice powder. The chicken wasn't ground to a consistent small size. It almost seemed over cooked and firm.

"S2. Grilled BBQ Pork Sandwich was delicious. The bread was crispy but does not cut your gums. The grilled pork was flavorful and well seasoned. The meat to veggie ratio was great. Fillings were not skimpy at all and well worth the price. The mayo and sauce was delicious but the down side was that after a while the sauce made the bread soggy and everything started to fall out. "Mama's is on the spicier end of Thai food, and that's something I appreciate about it! Unfortunately, they added chicken to my 1. Pad thai order when none was asked for, and tofu was not included. This was a problem, as I am vegetarian. Despite this, the 1. Pad thai was delicious after I had removed the chicken! The 9.red curry was exceptionally spicy and delicious.
Mama's could benefit from clarifying their menu options on Doordash by making the protein choices more clear. For dishes that traditionally include a specific protein, that's understandable to not offer options. I would love for a specified tofu option to indicate that the dish should be vegetarian.
Issues aside, Mama's is so, so good. I'll be ordering again for sure! It's great to have a Thai restaurant that really means it when they say it's spicy."
