First off, I have to say that the food from Shang Cafe is genuinely good. However, I encountered some frustrating issues that might be worth considering if you're thinking about ordering through DoorDash.
One of the biggest concerns I faced was the pricing. The markup on DoorDash for Shang Cafe is quite steep, leading to overpaying by about 30 to 40 percent for just about every dish. It was disappointing to realize that, in addition to that, the fees on DoorDash added up quickly, making the experience feel like I was being taken advantage of.
On top of that, while waiting for my order, I noticed that my Dasher was left waiting for over 30 minutes at the restaurant. That’s a long time, and it really threw off the estimated delivery.
