I appreciate the high-quality recyclable container my General Gau's Chicken came in. The portion size of the Scallion Pancake and General Gau's Chicken seemed too small for the amount I paid compared to other local Chinese food places. Especially the General Gau's Chicken seemed too small. It also didn't come with any extra sauce. I'm used to, and prefer, when they plate the General Gau's Chicken in it's own container smothered in sauce and broccoli, and put a small white rice box on the side to mix into the chicken yourself . This plating seems more like a special. I have waaay too much white rice and not enough chicken, sauce, or broccoli! Otherwise, everything is delicious 😋"

"We had high hopes but were disappointed. Unfortunately the dishes we ordered did not taste very authentic. We received small portions of each dish and extremely watery duck curry. The worst part was that there was hardly any of the watery curry to go on our big portions of white rice.
The crispy chicken on top of the Pad Thai tasted like Chinese restaurant chicken fingers and even came with what tasted like duck sauce.
The best parts of the meal were the duck meat and crispy pork. Although, the spicy basil dish tastes exactly the same as the crispy pork and bok choy dish when you choose crispy pork option for your meat, so I'd choose a ground meat to go with it.
The tom kha was decent but a little too sweet instead of savory. The chicken meat was a little dry/overcooked.
Definitely not worth the $100 price tag when you order 4 dishes from here."
