"That Oxtail meal was pretty decent and it this is my first time ordering food from this location. My appeared sufficent in terms of my portion size. The food was fresh and tasty, too! I see 👀 no reason "WHY?!!", I would'nt order from this place again. I received my order immediately; I took 1 look 👀 at my Instagram account, went upstairs and the driver was already sitting in his car in my driveway. Everything was perfect! So, I wrote this review to help your business; great food. I loved it 💓💓💓💓💓"

"Always great! The portions were generous, the food was flavorful, and everything was packed with care. The oxtails were tender and well-seasoned, the rice was flavorful without being overwhelming, and the chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. Definitely a hearty, satisfying meal with plenty of food for the price. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. I’d definitely order again!"

"The lamb Breezes Lamp Chop in Honey Mustard Sauce had absolutely no honey mustard sauce. I guess they must have forgotten it for the take out order. The mashed potatoes was also lacking in taste and it wasn't very creamy. It was very dissapointing considering the cost of the meal. My boyfriend enjoyed his Breeze's Irie Pasta with chicken added and I enjoyed the Breezes Walnut Shrimp. The Breadfruit was also not very great. Their bammy is always great though. The size of the bammy is now a lot smaller than it was before but🤷🏿♀️."

"Compared to the other Curry Goats I've had along Grand Ave, this is about bottom tier for me. Other places load my container up with Curry Goat while this place loads up the specific section. "I loved my meal. My only complaint is the oxtail had a lot of fat on it. Some pieces with no meat and just fat. Please trim the meat correctly as this is a pricy dish. "Having lived near the mile for 7 years, I've been on a quest for truly authentic jerk chicken. As someone who grew up in Queens, I know good Jerk, and this spot is the only one that's lived up to the hype. Believe me, I've tried them all! The flavor is incredible, perfectly capturing that classic jerk taste.
My only hesitation is the price. I recently paid close to $30 for a meal that felt more like an $18 value. While the taste is amazing, that price point might make me think twice about ordering again."
"Listen! Everything was so tasty that once I started eating it I couldn't put it down! I'm American and I Love good clean Caribbean food! The jerk chicken ; tasted clean and what I mean by that time was taken to prepare the chicken! As there are no veins ! Reminding me of my Caribbean girl friend who really made love to whatever she prepared! Thank you Jerk on the Water for recreating that experience for me ! It is an absolute must to dine here! As soon as my vision is restored I will be eating in house and not through Door dash ! In the mean time I will continue to order my meals from here. Even if it's a little more than cook unity or Nutre meal plans it's worth it! The coleslaw is banging and the Mac n cheese made for N appetizing meal ; chef, you put your foot in it!! I am ordering again! Do you make Irish moss? I'd love to experience some good fresh sea moss!"

I really wanted my food because its so good. She worked with me because I asked if she could hold my food until we had an update. Ive always had great food and service from them. The curry Curry Chicken Patty was nice and hot still and had a nice spice for me. The Stew Chicken was so flavorful. I asked for extra gravy. and the Plantain sweet and juicy! Thanks Jamrock!!"

"Great portion, great taste!!"
"I love oxtail and was excited to try theirs. My order came to a little over $40.00 and I felt though it was pricey, good oxtails is at times worth it. It was not tender, the gravy was overly sweet vs savory and overall taste was perhaps the worst oxtail that I have ever eaten. I also tried theirs shrimp Pattie...which was 6.75 that too was not very tasty. The rice and the vegetables were ok. They have a picture of rum cake but it says rock cake. I ordered a slice to see if it was actually rum cake or rock cake. Ps it was rock cake which is almost a cookie texture so there is an error on their website. I would not waste my money here unless it's for a regular spicy beef Pattie or bread. The authentic flavors that I know was definitely missing from both dishes. I want to say more but I don't want to be mean, just honest."

So good ! Packaged well , more than enough food and it taste fire.
The jerk chicken is so good - moist , flavorful and not overly spicy.
Not sure how I've never seen or heard of this place before but so glad I know now"
"Were you low on veggies? I barely had much in my Plain Rasta Pasta..which defeats the purpose of this dish. I'm not sure what was the rush that you couldn't seal my container...you just left it open, and barely sealed. Anyways, the dish is amazing, it's fresh, and flavorful."

"The alcapurria was delicious! The carne was seasoned perfectly—you can really taste the sofrito in every bite. Puro sabor a Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 Definitely ordering again!"
"2nd time ordering from here. Portion sizes not as big as from other spanish spots in the area. For the same price I got half the amount other places give me for the same exact order. Fried pork chops turned out to be just 1 chop that was more baked then fried. The pernil was good but not enough of it."

"Stew Chicken top tier! Flavor profile was on point and the portions were great.Sweet Yams were perfect for me. Suttle sweetness and not overbearing. Of course it paired perfect with the Macaroni and Cheese .Cabbage was good as well.Banana Pudding was good although I love more cskies and Banana, that's just my southern blood😏"
"I have nothing but positive things to say about this restaurant. The food was affordable, delicious and the person that answered the phone was so patient to understand my order. Everything was right. When we got our food, my husband and I were really impressed with the portion size and the quality of the food. The food was REALLY delicious and fresh. They also didn't just use salt and sugar to season their food. We tasted the blends of species that they used. We will definitely order from them again!!!"

"The Colombian Burger was delicious, and the pink sauce was on point with the right amount of onion and garlic. I did not taste the pineapple sauce but I did see the pieces of pineapple. This was a good burger and I will definitely order it again. Sadly I did not receive the rice pudding that I ordered. I was not able to balance my savory meal with something sweet."
"One of my favorite restaurants for good reason. Best Colombian food in the area. Give great portions, would 10/10 order again and again. I've taken out Colombian food a million times and this is the best around. The Mushroom sauce with chicken breast is so fire. LOVE THIS PLACE."

"I was honestly surprised by the portion size when my order arrived. For a medium oxtail, I expected a more generous serving. I received two larger pieces of oxtail along with two much smaller pieces that were mostly bone. The oxtail itself was flavorful and tender, and the rice was good, but there wasn’t enough gravy to go with all of the rice. Overall, the food tasted great, but the portion size didn’t match my expectations, especially for the price. I hope they consider being more generous with both the oxtail and the gravy."
"We are a Caribbean family and the jerk chicken was tasteless, The "mixed vegetables" was just a small container of very old stewed cabbage. Even the plantains were pretty tasteless. We had leftovers but we threw them out."

"So delicious and well seasoned food!!!!!! Lots of oxtails and gravy and fried chicken was fresh and delicious!!! Steam Veggies delicious!!!!! Im from Brooklyn where the Jamaican food is authentic and so good ..... this restaurant gives me HOME!!!!! I love this place !!!!"
"The oxtails were a mix of tender and overcooked, the rice was bland and dry. The vegetables were not cooked and were not tasty AT ALL! And to pay $25 and get a small container was ridiculously overpriced."
