"Second time I tried this place. I never thought that Iraqui food would be so good. Everything is packed with packed with such unique flavors. The lamb shank was amazing the first time. The second time, we got the meal for 2 and got to try all sorts of varaity of meats. 5 stars well deserved."
"The Falafel was as advertised. Both of the salads were sub par. When you spend $67 and receive basically Side Salads, not worth the $$. A Greek Salad isn't served with lettuce/greens. A Beet Salad should have more than a couple beets sliced up."

"The portion was small fo the gyro and it didn't have flavor. It felt like mostly bread and the tzatziki sauce was bland as well. Not awful but also not worth paying for. Especially at full price. Wouldn't order again."
"I really wanted to like this place but the Gyro Wrap* was very bland. The flavor was seriously lacking. I hate to say it but it was a very basic tasting and looking gyro. I added my own franks red hot sauce to it just to give it some flavor or something. The Fries* were the same shape and style as McDonald's but soggy. Overall I would give Sheesh in Frisco 2.5 stars out of 5. It's very forgettable. I will not order again. For the price, the portions are SMALL."

"Food arrived hot. L-Kofta Kebab was well seasoned (Lamb/Beef kebab) and was given a good portion. Basmati rice was fluffy and also well seasoned, only drawback was a little too much oil. Grill vegetables weren't anything special although they were cooked well and not mushy like some places. Overall I would recommend."
"The salad looked absolutely nothing like the picture... There was no Feta wedge (there was some crumbled) but the killer was the tomato which was soggy and ancient ... Inedible and not fresh. Fresh tomatoes are so important in a Greek salad especially when the salad is $25.
If there was anything pretty decent it was the 3 chicken kabobs that had a nice flavor."

"Everything, and I mean everything, was top quality and still hot when delivered. We are particularly fond of Pelmeny. Salmon was perfectly cooked, shank was hearty and delish, soups were great, with enough for 2 or for next day's lunch. The "pizza", blintzes and bread were great. The bread also makes excellent toast. This is the 2nd time we've ordered. It's consistently good and we'll be ordering again!!"
"The vareniki were fresh, flavorful, and served in a satisfying portion. The chicken soup included homemade pasta, which was delicious, but the minced chicken balls were overly oily. I was surprised to find minced chicken balls instead of the expected chicken chunks shown in the app photo—that was the only letdown in an otherwise good meal."

"I will not be getting my desserts from anywhere else. This is the best baklava I've had in years. "
"I really had high hopes for this place. Turkish coffee was okay the Turkish Triangle With Nutella nots good just okay It wasn't freshly made. it may have been sitting there for a day or two. and as far as the Baklava Pistachio Halabi It was not good at all. it was actually soapy tasting like they used soap for the syrup. baklava just horrible! and then last but not least the Knafeh Ben Naren With kishteh , It was decent, not the greatest. I took a few bites and I'll just leave it at that. believe me, the pictures are appetizing and it looks like everything will be delicious but this was not worth the money I spent. everything went in the trash. with my Arabic Roots, I just know what these dishes should taste like and they were not good at all."

"I ordered Fadi's Ultimate Sampler with Fadi's Chicken, cilantro zucchini, pomegranate eggplant, Greek salad, Fattoush Salad, and spinach hummus. It was all fantastic! Very fresh, well packaged and the right temperatures. The menu noted this order would come with rice, which wasn't in the bag, but there was so much food I figured that was ok. My piece of Baklava seemed a bit small, but turned out it was exactly the right size. Perfectly prepared! Sweet, great texture and the price point made the sense for the serving size.
Unfortunately, no utensils were delivered, so the convenience of hotel room delivery kind of failed when I had to go to the hotel lobby for utensils. Overall, really excellent food at a good price though. I'll order from here again. "
"The food is really good and you get plenty of food with your order unlike some so called fancy places here in McKinney where it's overpriced for less food and so-so quality.
I highly recommend this place."

"I go here all the time and it's always consistent and so delicious. I've had their chicken wrap, their gyro wrap, and the gyro plate and it's all just wonderful. The wait staff is also so wonderful and kind. It's definitely a hidden gem right here in Allen. "

"This Lamb Gyro Sandwich is one of the best things I've ever put in muh belly! the thing that's missing is tatziki sauce, which is traditionally paired with it. "I ordered the koobideh kabob, rice, sabzi feta cheese & pita, and dough... it was all amazing. I was worried it would be cold even with 32 degree weather but it wasn't because they package it well in black to go containers with the clear lids. Kabob was juicy, not dry. They even included sumac. The onions, radish, sabzi, feta cheese and pita bread were of substantial size I was surprised and it was all fresh. I'm very satisfied and it was honestly worth the money having fresh Persian food delivered to my home and not having to cook my own subpar food :) Will order again. Thanks!"
"So I rated 5 stars on my last order but this order was not consistent. The sabzi/feta cheese order came in a small togo box instead of the large one it was in last time, and I paid the same price. The dough last time came in the bottle so it was freshly poured into a cup at home. This time it tasted like straight yogurt in a styrofoam cup with half melted iced. It did not taste like the dough that comes in the bottle. Please stay consistent it's very important. "

"OMG. I have been looking for a great pita Place like this for a while. I tried the mushroom shawarma pita and I have to say I wasn't a fan but that's because it was a texture issue and I'm autistic.I threw in some falafels I had on hand instead. every single one of their tahini sauces, the regular, the red pepper, the jalapeno garlic were all excellent. but I think the red pepper is my favorite. I couldn't put this down it was so good. the dolmades. ....I have tried them at several places and I've never been a fan. I've changed my mind. they were so light and Airy and good. my only complaint was the eggplant hummus. I guess I was expecting kind of a baba ganoush hummus mix. it was very Bland and flavorless. otherwise, goodbye CAVA, hello hummus Republic"

"Very disappointing. No sauces were added, and the service was very poor. I can’t eat chicken over rice without sauce. The chicken tasted very different, the rice was not fresh, and the veggies tasted frozen, smell coming from it ..the side sauce box was about 70% empty with a very small portion. Nothing like the chicken over rice we used to eat. Very poor quality and service."

"The Saffron Joojeh Kabob (Saffron Chicken Tender Kabob) and Ravioli Di Aragosta were outstanding. Well intentioned seasoning and cook. The Traditional Persian Cake Roulette (Cake Roll) was a bit wet in the cake and it's structure wasn't full. The creme was well made though and held up to freezing/refrigeration. The Baghali Polo Mahiche (Authentic Persian Lamb Shank) was a bit over on the cook. I prefer close to rare for my lamb and have more salt to make the fat more fun to eat.
I would recommend that the restaurant provide half portions for their meals for a reduced cost for those of us that would prefer a less generous offering."
"I was in the mood to try something different tonight as found this restaurant... after some quick research I decided to try the Tahdig w Ghormeh Sabzi, Naan, and Baklava.
Unfortunately,it all ended up in the trash after two bites. Its a shame too bc I was really looking forward to trying. The Tahdig came with rice Ive never had before and hope to never again. It was practically inedible...came actually cold to the touch, pan fried until so overcooked it was like a rock and had this rancid taste. Then to add insult, a small spoon of saffron rice was added and that was cold and tasted old. HOWEVER the actual stew - Ghormeh Sabzi, has a very distinct flavor and I found it interesting and tasty BUT due to the horrible rice, I only took a bite bc I couldn't trust it was fresh. Then there's the store bought pita bread being sold as Naan which just ruins the meal. Finally the Baklava... sadly, old and stale and way too sweet. I won't order from here again. U can find better."

"*Beef Shawarma Wrap 11"is good, the *Chicken Shawarma Wrap 11" is better. Get extra garlic sauces for dipping. Price is good, I got buy one get one, 2 wraps are very filling."
"The fries had some flavor. The cook on the chicken shawarma is good. To-go Container is nice and I thought it protected my meal while in transit as well as kept it warm. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich with hummus and garlic sauce. I added fries and the pickled vegetables. What is lacking throughout is enough flavor in my humble opinion. The garlic sauce was quite mild in garlic flavor. The consistency is good. The falafel is a little dry, but if its kept under a heat lamp that can be anticipated. The pickled vegetables flavor is good, just not really tasting any top-note flavors or spices other than vinegar. The hummus has a great consistency, quite a mild flavor. I don't get the tahini, or olive oil, or lemon in the "bite" with the pita bread. The chicken shawarma is more traditional with no fries included inside the sandwich, just pickles and sauce. A little dry chicken but the somewhat garlic flavor sauce is slightly adding more moisture back to the bite. I really enjoyed the frozen fries seasoning. The pita bread is adequate. Overall I look forward to trying other items at Shawarma press to see if I am WOWED with mediterranean flavor on a different dish or entree. "

"This place has seriously lost its touch! It used to be our go-to spot for Mandi, especially their Grilled Chicken Mandi, but unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill.
We’ve been extremely disappointed with both our current and previous orders. The rice portions have become ridiculously small, and the chicken tastes terrible. Honestly, the food doesn’t even taste fresh anymore. It’s frustrating to see a restaurant that was once so good completely compromise on its quality.
To make matters worse, I called the restaurant 7–8 times over a 40-minute period just to address the issue with the rice portions, and not once did anyone answer the phone. That alone speaks volumes about their customer service and how little they seem to care about their customers.
This has been one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had on DoorDash and in general. I genuinely regret ordering from here, and I can confidently say I will never order from this place again. I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either.
Terrible food quality, disappointing portions, and absolutely unacceptable customer service. What a shame for a place that used to be one of the best for Mandi!"
