I don't know what those people who "criticized" the food were thinking! Their taste buds must be off in a big way!
I ordered the Jaeger Schnitzel with sauerkraut and tiny spaetzle ( in my language we call them"klatzkai"). I appreciate the taste of fresh food made with pride in heritage.
The sauerkraut was perfect, the schnitzel was as well, the spaetzle were a perfect subtle addition to off-set the other, well seasoned food on the plate.
And the delicately made Beignets were a great surprise. I've tasted many, and these were the best from every country I've tried them.
They didn't use old oil. That, too, was fresh. The outside was perfectly crunchy ( not heavy at all) that means the oil was also just the right temperature when the beignets were lowered into the oil. And the the inside was fully cooked through but light as air. It was a delight!
The portions were what you'd expect from home.

If you ask to hold the protein (which you have to call them to request, since they refuse requests on DD app) , they still charge full price. Portions have shrunk.
