They've changed their ordering so you can't ask for any substitutes, which made this time a challenge for myself and my daughter who are allergic to gluten and dairy (the ability to order incredible and safe foods was always a huge draw). We ended up ordering off the Whole 30 menu which is a set of pre-selected subs, but also takes away the options for allergy friendly sides.
I paid over $60 for dry romaine and 2.5oz of dry, overcooked salmon and a burger that was so dry and well done that it was completely inedible (oh,and more dry lettuce as a side) I've ordered both these things before multiple times (and had them delivered!!) and never was the food this gross and disappointing. "The food was really good, the presentation difficult. The fresh spring rolls were tightly wrapped up in plastic cling wrap. The rolls themselves are wrapped in rice paper, which clings to the cling wrap, Un wrapping them really hard! They just kind of fall apart. I am sure that served in the restaurant they are fine. The pad Thai was presented as a bunch of ingredients all packed together in a box. To enjoy them properly they needed to be mixed, impossible to do in the box because the noodles are all along the bottom, just stuck there. I dumped everything into a salad bowl and was able to mix them a bit. Still, very tasty and I am sure in the restaurant, properly served, it would be fine. The curry was perfect!"

"Let me say, Alberto's downtown is the tastiest late night Taqueria-style spot in SLC Valley! Alberto's is noticeably fresher and more flavorful than Betos or Rancheritos. I ordered the #11 Chile Verde plate and a Steak Breakfast Burrito. Muy Bueno!! so good!
They're a bit far from South Valley but they've got a long reach for delivery, and the food was just as smokin hot when it arrived had it come from just down the street.
The packaging when it arrived was very impressive. I love the brown paper bag, with the protective seal gluing the two sides together for protection! Very cool. No more staples or scotch tape. It took a bit of muscle to tear the top part of the bag open, but I loved that knowing there was no way anyone was inside that bag before it left the restaurant and it arrived on my doorstep.
