The bun was big and soft and held everything in place, but don't take too long to eat it or the juices will escape and melt the bun. "The "Union Jack Steak Burger" was honestly one of THE BEST burgers I've ever eaten, and I'm not exaggerating. The quality of the meat was exceptional; it arrived perfectly medium rare (which is a personal preference, which I did not specify, but was happily surprised) and the burger felt like it was at least 8oz in weight.
Also, the lettuce (not iceburg, thankfully) and tomato were very fresh, the cheddar cheese was divine (not clumpy or greasy) and the HP sauce is far better in taste than A1 sauce. I'm glad I did not omit it.
I'm a huge fan of the Croissant Bread Pudding, and today's variety had what tasted like Bordeaux cherries (?) and dark chocolate chips (morsels) which really won me over.
Lastly, I think I'm addicted to the Cheddar and Herb scones.
Thank you for proving that some restaurants still care about quality, flavor, freshness, and their patrons.
