"The first time I had the New New Orleans Jambalaya was at the actual restaurant. I was quite surprised at the portion size! Which you easily can get two meals out of and I ended up taking half of it home for later.
Next was the amount of the various meat and seafood in it! They give you a very healthy portion of the Blackened chicken breast, sautéed shrimp and chicken-andouille sausage! There was no skimping on that!
Next was the most surprising aspect of this entree for me was how flavorful it was! This was really surprising. because I've had jambalaya at other restaurants and it was just as bland as it could be but not here. For my taste I didn't have to add anything to it even though our server brought over various hot sauces to add to it. Me and my friend who was joining me at dinner didn't need them at all. 😋🤤

The eggs and sausage were really good one of the hash browns was soft and light in color, not as crispy as usual in a restaurant but decent. The other hash browns were perfect, except they had a lot of brown sugar or something on them. Almost like they were cooked right where the French Toast was sitting. "Beteseb is one of those rare restaurants that gets better every time you go. This was my second visit, and the combination beef and vegetarian platter was incredible from start to finish. The kitfo was my favorite, with the beets, tibs, and the wot close behind. The injera was perfect. Soft, tangy, and easily some of the best I have ever had.
The owner and chef are warm, friendly, and genuinely kind. The whole place feels like a family home where you are always welcome. It was a full house during my visit, and my dining partner and I were the only people speaking English. That is always the sign you are in the right spot for real, well-loved food.
If you want a place that serves exceptional Ethiopian dishes with heart and hospitality, Beteseb should be at the top of your list. I cannot wait to go back."
