"Took a chance and tried this nice establishment, as we were in the mood for some righteous Chow Mein and Chow Fun.
It's hard to find proper Cantonese versions of both. Chow Mein is normally merely passable, with the horrid lo mein noodles raking up space in my gullet.
I was pleasantly surprised by the "craftsmanship" of both. very "wok-hei" when it arrived. Flavor was nostalgic, of SF Chinatown and the old-time Bay Area style of cooking .
The veggies were not my fave, stringy and a bit chewy, but that's ok. I just ate more noodles.
Sometimes I judge a Chinese restaurant by their tomato egg over rice dish. Not bad. A little salty, but it's ok, I just ate more noodles.
Overall, well done, Top Cafe. We'll be back.

"Authentic Cantonese cuisine. Consistent and delicious. Not many restaurants in DoorDash still allow you to make special requests on the items you order, they still do. Salt & Pepper Crispy Fish Fillet 椒盐鱼片 was delicious and the fish was tender. String Beans w/XO Sauce XO酱炒四季豆 was perfectly cooked and the House Special Chow Mein 招牌炒面. The hot and sour soup is one of my very favorite. It's tart and spicy but not too spicy and it has a nice white pepper. Finish to it. Perfect for a hot day. I think it's an Asian thing to drink/eat hot soup on a hot day.
The fish fillet with spring vegetables is such a generous portion light on a hot day, protein and vegetable vegetables. What more can you ask for I order these two regularly yes, it's that good"

"Black noodle was good as always but the Seafood Combination 팔보채 was a huge letdown. It was supposed to be a treat to myself to get this dish -- given I paid almost $50 for this dish (which is already +$11 ish than the store price) I was expecting more than a wimpy frozen seafood and mostly broccolis and mushy mushrooms, also the texture and flavor was just sad. I really enjoy their regular dishes like the black noodles and fried rice but I won't try the special dish especially the seafood ones ever again."
"This is the go to place for Hot & Sour Soup 산라탕. Best in the valley. The Wor Wonton Soup 만두탕 is great as well. Earthy and savory. Since it doesn't have squid it reheats well as leftovers. The Pot Stickers (8) 굼만두 are not particularly flavorful, but the deep fried feel is an interesting texture. Mu Shu Vegitable 야채 무슈 was nice, and the hoisin sauce was great; just the right thickness."
