Papas rancheras is another one of my favorite tacos. Not too hot at all. You can always add salsa for that kick. Salsas are good, adding flavor, not just heat. The Carne Roja Taco had great deep simmered red chili sauce. New to me, but very similar to guisada tacos. Much more rich in flavor. The Chorizo & Papa Taco i had ordered with beans. The potatoes were perfect. Good combination.
The Gorditas Plate is also very generously sized and very good. Two very large gorditas, with very nice corn mix flavor to them. The filling is delicious, though I would have preferred a cheddar cheese as a topping. The plate comes with rice and beans. Two flour tortillas and salsa cups.

"I decided to give Chong's another try and I'm regretting it. I ordered the La Gai Bi / 갈비 (BBQ Ribs)$22.99, with delivery and tip the order was over 30$ which I don't have a problem with. The issue is usually there are at least 3 short ribs and this order had two. If you're familiar with the dish, the short ribs are very thin, I had even ordered the "dinner" plate which stated it came with more food.
I'm deeply disappointed because I really did love Chong's.
