"This place regularly has some of the best Japanese food in the area. The ONLY PLACE I will eat teriyaki or tonkatsu from as it's actually fresh, tender, and tastes amazing. The fried rice is legit as well. As a person who orders door dash nightly, this place is hands down #1 teriyaki in the South sound area. "
"Ive been ordering from HATB for years---even before doordash. I have always considered their fried rice to be the absolute best in the area. The portion size was generous and coupled with its luxurious, buttery, & toasty flavor profile---the $20 price tag was acceptable because i could eat it 2-3 times.
Im sad to report that they have reduced the quality of the meat, and reduced the serving size by shrinking the container. Rather than a full dinner size to go container, they now use a container that feels half-sized though it's likely more like 66% sized. The meat felt more like scraps from the cutting board than the meat in the past. Very sad. Absolutely not worth $40 for two. Will be difficult to justify purchase moving forward."
