"The Lechón Asado por libra was a bit disappointing as were the Guineitos en escabeche. They both tasted like no attempt was made to season them. I have eaten lechon asado from many different places, including Puerto Rico, and I must say this was disappointing. I recommend letting the meat marinate longer if at all. The Cuajito 32 oz (picante) followed suit and was not seasoned well either, much less spicy as it is described. I ordered because of all the good reviews others gave it, not sure if they ordered from this same place. The Arroz con gandules was actually the one item that tasted good and cooked perfectly. "

These are so rich in flavor and the chicharron is soooo crispy. Both the arepa and salty potato that came with these sides were amazing. BUT I MUST SAY, the Empanada Grande - Came / Large Beef Empanada is not as good as they used to be. They were smaller, crispy, and with such more flavor. "Ordered late night after a trip to the park. Food arrived more than warm despite the extended distance. The food was packed well and minimal leakage from the sauces.
The Mix Fajitas was made well. Slightly under seasoned for my liking, but the portion size was large. The shrimp were surprisingly good size and cooked to perfection. The vegetables were crisp. It was accompanied by a small portion of rice and beans, lettuce, chopped tomatoes, fresh cheese (so nice !!!! ) and slices of avocado.
My son enjoyed his asada Tortas. It came with fries. It was hearty and made well.
