"We had heard good things about The Stand but didn't feel like driving, so we ordered via DoorDash. Everything was delicious, even after drive time! I had the Southwest Chicken Sandwich and my husband had the ABC Burger. Both were juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked meat and perfectly toasted brioche buns. We also devoured an order of Sweet Potato Fries with ranch dressing...again, perfectly cooked. Lastly, we shared a Chocolate Chip Cookie and a Brownie. Both were soft and decadent, and a perfect end to our meal.
It was excellent via DoorDash, and now we can't wait to try dining there as well. Great addition to Santee!"

The beans and rice are perfectly cooked and seasoned. We usually each get a Crispy Potato Taco as a starter, and then we have part of a burrito. "The Albacore Tuna sandwhich was excellent. I put in special instructions and they followed them perfectly. Most sandwich places don't even let you put in special instructions. The sandwich was huge! I got the 9 inch and it was as big as Subway's foot long sanwich. I couldn't even finish half of it. The Potato Salad was really good as well. The whole meal was perfect!"

"I had been wanting to order from here but I was skeptical because it seemed priced too reasonably and I never been there before. The #12. BBQ STACK BURGER (ANGUS BEEF PATTY,BACON,ONION RING,SMOKED GOUDA CHEESE,LETTUCE,TOMATO, BBQ SAUCE) was great it tasted like a nice home cooked burger. The fries were crispy and delicious also. My favorite burger spot now."
"The food doesn't quite look the way it does in the photos - which is a bit disappointing as Cali Stack Burgers is really the only place I know of where the food looks as good as it does in their pictures. Both the ONION RINGS and #19. CHICKEN TENDERS(5 PCS CRISPY CHICKEN TENDERS) appear to have been left in the fryer or oven too long, because they're looking more burnt than edible. The #19. CHICKEN TENDERS(5 PCS CRISPY CHICKEN TENDERS) look like the runty little pieces you find at the bottom of the store bought Foster Farms bag after you've gone through the bigger, fuller chicken strips. But how do they taste? Well, some of the chicken strips were actually pretty juicy and they were great! Unfortunately, not all of them were like that, and some tasted as dry as they looked. As for the ONION RINGS ... well, they definitely taste like they look, dry and crunchy. Again, not sure if it was the way they were cooked, maybe they used a different batter, but they're not as great as they usually are. Perhaps I'm just confused, but I could've sworn that CSB's onion rings were beer-battered and had that smoother texture to them like the O-rings they'd sell at the old Lakeside Café across the street from Allie's FedEx & Knickknack store (and I think maybe Denny's too?), instead of the way they make them at Jack in the Box, Sonic, and similar drive-thru places. The beer-battered version is how I prefer my onion rings, and usually CSB knocks it out of the park... but unfortunately, not this time.
Overall, I consider these to be nitpicks and not a hard and definitive "bad review". I still believe this restaurant is an overall hidden gem and worth eating at."
