"Overall the quality was fine but just not that great when there are so many other better Taqueria's in Santa Cruz. Most of the meat was fairly bland, the proportions of toppings to tortilla were just wrong, and it just left a lot to be desired. The Carnita's was probably the best of the ones we got, but it was overshadowed but the insane amount of cheese melted betweeen the 2 corn torillas (what is this Taco Bell?) and the plethora of cabbage. The highlight of the meal was the chips and the salsas. Both were very good and probably would have been happier with just that. I would give it a 3 out of 5 stars. Not neccisarily bad but very lack luster and dissapointing."

"Pretty sure they use AI images for their menu photos because the food looks nothing like this, not even the same ingredients. I got the Rockfish Burrito and it was huge (yay!) but it was almost entirely beans and rice. The fish was barely noticable, not big chunks like the photo but small flakey pieces and it was very dry and chewy. I ate about 1/4 of the burrito thinking they had sent me just a bean and cheese because I didn't taste any fish or pineapple. There was almost no flavor to the burrito at all and the tortilla fell apart. The Onion Rings were also huge in potion but it was all one giant greasy onion blob. Not really rings at all and a little burnt. Again, nothing like the photo, not even the same kind of batter. Really disappointing and expensive for the low quality food I received."
"This was my first time trying this place and was fairly excited and hopeful to find a good spot. However It was underwhelming. I wish they would have clarified it had black beans, I'm not the biggest fan but that wasn't a big deal. The main issue was the flavor was non existent, it was mostly eggs, and very little chorizo. The burrito is big though. I also don't know why they have you decide what kind of salsa you want if they don't include any."

"The Kitchen Sink was overflowing with crispy bacon and avocados, which I loved! The plain bagel was good (they must have been out of the everything bagel because this was my backup). I especially appreciate that the bagels are made in-house.
My latte was supposed to be pumpkin spice but it does not taste as if any flavorings were added. But it is a good, albeit plain, latte nonetheless.
Now for the not so good part: I appreciate that you have an opportunity to remove items (like chorizo ,green onions, whatever). I would have liked to have removed the jalapenos from the order. (but to be clear, it only took me 30 seconds to disassemble the bagel, and remove the hardy serving of jalapenos). "I have been coming to firefly for bagels for many years and they're always top notch so I decided to try the scramble and was so disappointed. The bacon in it was super chewy and no well cooked. (I've always had crispy well cooked bacon whenever I get it on bagels) The potatoes were super small and had no crisp and I splurged on adding avo only to have it mixed into the hot scramble. Avocado was discolored and brown which made it hard to tell if it was a bad avocado or if it was from being mixed into the hot scramble "
