"I’ve ordered from Port of Peri Peri (Buffalo Grove location) multiple times before, but unfortunately, this will be my last. Over time, I’ve noticed a steady decline in quality while prices keep increasing. Today’s order was the final straw.
I ordered a whole chicken with peri rice (large upgrade) and five extra sauces. The chicken was extremely dry, as if it hadn’t thawed properly before cooking. Instead of the large rice portion I paid for, they gave me a small, which is just careless. The extra sauces were another disappointment—while I understand they won’t be filled to the brim for transport, these were barely half full, yet they charge $1 per sauce. Out of the five I ordered, only two were decently filled—a complete ripoff.
My family used to love takeout from here, but the quality has dropped too much to justify the price anymore. I genuinely believe it’s this Buffalo Grove location cutting corners because the Schaumburg location has maintained its standards.
Save your money and go elsewhere—this location is not worth it anymore."

"Having no idea what to expect with the Pelmeni, I was amazed by the delicious flavor. It had a slight bite to it which was pleasant and the broth flavorful. With the dumplings this dish was filling on its own.
Having been unsure but intrigued by the dish I also ordered the Frunze Shawarma. When I opened my bag and found a foot long wrap I was shocked!
After finishing the Pelmeni, I attempted to at least try some of the Frunze Shawarma and only managed a 1/3 of it before having to stop. This wrap had crisp veggies and tender, well seasoned chicken. I also enjoyed the fact that it was wrapped tightly and not overly stuffed making it easy to eat without making a huge mess like many wraps.

"Let's start with the good. The ribs were decent. A little over priced but I can see a surcharge on a late night Thursday evening. Garden salad was 90% iceburg lettuce, 2 cherry tomatoes a couple of olives and 4 pepperoncinis . Could have been good with some more fixing. For $17 I was expecting a little more. Plus the bag was leaking dressing all over my driveway probably not the restaurants fault but not a didn't help the cause. Finally the $8 side of curly fries. Didn't even receive that.
I know times are tight but if you guys want to make it in the post pandemic environment I would advise you to step up your quality or drop your price.
