THIS is real, authentic down-home bbq. The brussels are amaaaazing! Ribs were tender and the pork chop.... a warm pink center. Lots of gourmet touches. Totally impressed. and i don't write reviews. ever.

Ordered the Pitmaster once before was absolutely outstanding(moist flavorful). The most recent order was awful, extremely dry, chewy, sides tasteless. If this inconsistent I will not return, get better bbq elsewhere for cheap.

ribs were super dry. cornbread tasted artificially sweet. coleslaw was pretty bland. the jalapeno cheddar grits I enjoyed. the mac and cheese was just ok, a little bland but it's Mac and cheese. the Alabama white sauce was really good tho, it was like a super creamy ranch. overall this place was not good, I kinda want my money back.

The greens remind me of childhood... they are roll your eyes in the back of your head good. The brisket could have nothing on it and it's still amazing.
The food is consistently delicious. Those newer to food service have a great role model regarding customer engagement from Chris. The food - YES PLEASE! The chef and staff - home run every time.

I generally love the food but the Pitmaster Platter was small for the amount of food we received. It would've been more food if we'd ordered separate meals and cheaper too. We only got 1 muffin. The potato salad was lacking in flavor and seasonings. I am not a fan of coleslaw but we were unable to select a substitute and like many(my experience most) businesses on Doordash they don't care enough to allow us to make special instructions. The side dish portions didn't even fill the small cups. I'll probably order from here again but no time soon and definitely not the Pitmaster Platter unless it's for 1 person or children.
