Top 3 restaurant in San Rafael, the griot is super crispy and flavorful and everything that comes with a meal is unique. Service is also great

Food did not taste good across the board. Plantains were dry, rice and beans too salty, salad was warm, slaw tasted sour, chicken was not prepared well. The shrimp was cooked well and the only eatable part although likely too spicy for most.

It's all about the Ackee and saltfish! Soooo good. We've enjoyed the prawns, oxtails, jerk combo, etc ALL GOOD. But that ackee is our go-to.

I ordered curry goat/fried goat and oxtail entrees. My curry goat was not currying, lol. I know goat meat can be chewy, but it doesn't have to be. This definitely was tough to chew! Goat meat needs to be slowly cooked and cooked for a long time to break down the collagen and fibers. The meat was not tender, at all. Now, for the oxtails, it's ashamed for this entree to cost so much, and the meat is just as tough, if not tougher, than the goat meat! Just a disservice to the meats and the customers. I would have expected the two dishes to have different flavors or different gravy consistency on them. Suprise, they are the same exact gravy! I will say that the gravy taste good and it's full of flavor. The rice and beans were a joke too, no flavor and dry. I spent $26 for the oxtails and $23 for the curry goat/fried goat. I feel like I got played big time!!!! You only have to get me one time and I will never come back!!!!
