Our legendary bagel recipe was brought here from Brooklyn, New York, and House of Bagels launched in 1962 at the original location at 2nd and Geary Blvd.
Bagels have a nice chew, ingredients were fresh and everything was well packaged. Not sure what's with all the low ratings but this place has been added into my doordash rotation : )

Egg Salad Bagel was good. Too much stuff on it that I didn't realize because I just wanted egg salad but not I know for the future. The bagel itself however was VERY good! I look forward to trying more of their bagel options.

The ordering menu is a bit confusing, but this is one of the only bagelsmiths that takes special written requests on DoorDash orders. 8/10 bagels (I've baked them commercially myself, so I'll bump it up from a 7/10), but 10/10 attention to detail.

The breakfast bagels were tasty, but they sent the wrong type. I ordered to Westerns and got two bacon and egg bagels.
