If you're ever craving "Asian" flavors but not sure what you want, order 2 dozen soup buns ....its like an explosion comfort and joy and umami in your mouth. All the dumplings and buns are legit, though I'd rate A3. Soup Buns at the top

It comes with 8 per order! Takes about two bites to get through one. Came with chili sauce and a bit of soy sauce, if you don't have any I'd ask for more. Delicious filling, btw could eat by itself. Definitely getting the soup dumplings next time.

Holy smokes!!!! This place is amazing. We had never had soup dumplings before and we were blown away. I got the beef in tomato sauce noodles & my husband got the braised beef noodles & both were delicious! We will become regulars here.

The soup dumplings arrived broken with the soup at the bottom of the container. The other buns were disproportionate between filling and wrapping. I don't recommend it.

I have bought from Bao Shi Yi many times previously. I still cannot fault the quality of the food. It's excellent. That said the portion sizes have been getting smaller and this for me is the last straw. If you need to maintain profit margins then raise prices but for me to get a half full cup of beef broth and a half full bowl of noodles is ridiculous. When I first started ordering from here I used to get a full cup of beef broth to pour over my full bowl of noodles and beef. Bao Shi Yi already is one of the more expensive Authentic Chinese Restaurants in the area and I accepted that but what I won't accept is smaller and smaller portion sizes for what I am paying. I won't be ordering from Bao Shi Yi again.
