I didn't even know these guys were near by- sooo good! I had the forecast de Fricase de Pollo con Papas / Chicken Fricassee with Potatoes and it was delicious! And so much! Great food at good prices.

Worst of both worlds. I am from Puerto Rico and always looking for good caribbean and Cuban restaurants. There are two TERIFFIC ones but I decided to try this place. I ordered the Plato de Chamorro de Puerco / Pork Shank Plate and requested black beans and rice to replace their rice and beans (of which were not clarifed on the menu as either brown/red/or black as this is a Cuban and Mexican place so I had no clue what was being offered. ) I know they offer black beans so it should NOT have been a stretch.
So after I recieved my meal and opened it I found we got refied beans. Not good ones...It had the consistency of soup. Came with a small box FULL of limes for basically God knows what. HUGE pork shank- absolutely fried tender but greasy and FLAVORLESS. The meal was like something out of a buffet where it just doesn't matter as long as there was a lot of it. I ate less than half trying to push through greasy, flavorless food. $17 a plate I'm looking for GOOD food. None here. Sticking to Havana and Taste Of The Caribbean. This is my first 1 star review and I hope I never have to do again.

The flavor was bland and didn't have seasoning to it. There was no shrimp to be found in the shrimp tacos and the asada was overcooked. The onion was the only thing I could taste. The Horchata was bland watery blah. Very disappointed.

Por el precio pagado se esperaría más carneen el plato. A comparación con otros lugares de comida te suelen servir más carne. En general la. Comida está buena!!
