Everything is so seasoned and flavorful! The charbroiled chicken and sautéed chicken are rich with flavor (similar to Asian cuisine). The collard greens, broccoli, sweet potatoes, and rice are all my favorite sides! You'll love them, too, if you love authentic soul food! The cornbread is also sweet and soft!

BEWARE if you are ordering the 1 Seafood with 2 Sides. The fish no longer resembles the baked fish in the photo. Instead, they will serve you with thin, overly dry, overly tough fried fish. They still get 2 stars for following the special instructions (asked them to sub green beans for their un- listed collards), but the seafood plate is way overpriced for less-than-Captain D's quality of fish.

The blackened peas were not cooked Again so I wasted 4 dollars on them again !

The grilled chicken, noodles, Mac n cheese, cabbage are amazing. Only thing I wished they would do is give you an option to put gravy on your mashed potatoes.

Rice is definitely Not fried, & the yams are canned without any type of seasonings at all!!
