Galata has become one of our family standbys, and for good reason. Portions are ample, preparation and delivery are swift, and quality is consistently high. We are particularly fond of the kebabs, ribeye wraps, and gyro plates. Prices are not low but beef and lamb are expensive in these inflationary times.

Overall, the food is OK. The Greek salad is fresh, however, they charge $12 for shrimp as a protein and you only get four. The trio of dips comes with cucumbers and pita. They are generous with the cucumbers, but only give four pieces of pita and not great pita at that.

This used to be one of my favs, but those days are over. The Honey Crispy Chicken Salad used to have hard boiled eggs & lots of sweet corn kernels. Not anymore. There were no eggs at all & I could count the 11 corn kernels. I also remember red onion that was non existent in the salad today. This salad used to be special. Now, well, today is the last time I'll order it.

Lamb pretty chewy but great balance of flavor and ingredients. The upgraded accompanying Greek salad was good but could've used more dressing. Lentil soup too watery and exceedingly spicy. Garlic fries were also disappointing as the minced garlic and feta appear to have just been sprinkled over regular fries. Rice pudding was very satisfying.

Lentil soup was completely blended without any chunk lentils like in the picture. Beet salad could have used a few more beets. Salmon was good. Flavors excellent overall.
