This was one of the tastiest meals I've had in Coolidge Corner! All of the ingredients tasted very fresh, and the Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap was incredibly crispy. The fries were surprisingly good as well.

I usually have great experiences both in house and with delivery. My Cornbeef Hash & Eggs tasted DELICIOUS, i'm amazed by the size and crunch of my Single Potato Pancake, and the side of fresh fruit is a nice addition. i also think their Coffee is pretty great, i usually take mine with cream and sugar but theirs is perfect black.
My only complaint is there needs to be more clarity when making food modifications and more options for drink orders. I chose my bread for the toast but it had me choose an additional option between "w/" (whatever that means) and "toasted". I thought it came toasted with butter automatically but i chose "toasted" just incase. That may have been a mistake because it DID come toasted but dry so maybe "w/" meant with butter... And then there was my drink order. Initially i wanted to order a flavored latte. They make hot chocolate so i know they have chocolate syrup, and they make lattes, so i wish the online ordering allowed me to order a latte and add mocha and change the milk option. I decided to order coffee instead and there was no option for milk, cream, or sugar in the coffee nor on the side so i just took a chance and ordered it the way it comes. It didn't automatically come with anything on the side. Luckily for me it worked out but for someone else who hates black coffee this would be an issue.
I'd still order from them again and sit in the restaurant, they do an amazing job and it's clear they take pride in their food, but i think if they just made these edits to online ordering it would be even better.

The corned beef on the Reuben was extremely fatty on one side of the sandwich and tough and tasteless on the other. I asked for a potato latke but they gave me coleslaw instead that consisted of way too much mayonaise. My husband asked for extra extra lean corned beef with the fat cut off and was under the impression they would/could do that. It was an expensive sandwich for so little meat, most of it fat. The matzo ball soup was nice, with large chunks of carrot, sliced onion, and shredded white chicken meat. It wasn't full of flavor, but no fat and I can add some garlic or seasoning. Im still fantasizing about that potato pancake, but alas, it wasn't there.

Always love Zaftigs but paid close to $40 for soup and latkes. The soup was mostly broth with little vegetables and some chicken. The latkes didn't taste fresh, perhaps they had been frozen. Overall, a disappointment this time.

Build your own sandwich(lean pastrami) was a complete waste of time, all bread minimal meat, the smallest most loneliest single piece of cheese i have ever seen. On the plus side the bread was decent which was good since it was basically a bread sandwhich. The hot can of soda was great since it helped keep it all warm. No where near worth the expense. Other sandwhich was "ok", Potato Pancakes were decent.
