"Extremely disappointing — not worth the price
The portions are extremely small for the price. The “Lamb Biryani” was nothing like biryani—it was essentially soggy curry rice. The rice was overly soft and had very little flavor, with only about 7 small pieces of lamb and roughly 100 g of rice in the portion.
The tandoori chicken was even more disappointing. I eat relatively low-salt food, but even I found this incredibly bland. There was barely any seasoning or salt. It honestly tasted like the chicken had been dipped in colored water, steamed, and then briefly broiled rather than properly marinated and cooked as tandoori chicken should be.
The food looked nothing like what I expected from the restaurant’s posted pictures. Do not rely solely on the images when deciding what to order.
Overall, extremely poor value for the price and a very disappointing meal. I would not order from here again."

"Finally found a favorite Indian restaurant!
I’m really glad I decided to try this place. Everything I ordered was delicious, especially the Lasuni Dal Tadka. I’ve tried quite a few dal tadkas elsewhere, and this is by far the best I’ve had. A lot of the ones I’ve tried at other restaurants have been very thin and watery, but this one had so much more flavor and a nice, hearty texture with the lentils still having some texture. It was also spicy in exactly the way I like it. I would definitely order it again. The only thing I felt was that $17 was a little pricey for the portion size, but it was so delicious that I would still happily order it again.
The spicy naan with green chilies was also really good. It was soft, flavorful, and this was my first time trying spicy naan. I really enjoyed it and would definitely order it again.
I also tried the Masala Chai. It was good, but it had a little too much milk for my taste, and I would have preferred a stronger chai flavor.
Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food was flavorful, the spice level was perfect for me, and I’m happy to have finally found a place I’ll be coming back to try more dishes."
"Everything was very flavorful and well packaged. The Vindaloo was really nice with just a bit of heat (I ordered mild). Next time I might get more adventurous and get it spicier. Their Mango Chutney was awesome and a great accompaniment to the spicy flavors. Even the rice was fresh, well cooked and perfect. Overall it was a great meal."

"Worst Indian food I've ever had.
Mattar Paneer Masala had lima beans, corn, and potatoes in it (unexpected and not a good addition) and very little sauce. The paneer was tasteless and an odd texture. It did not come with rice, even though it was pictured with rice. I paid for the large and got a small container about half full; maybe 8fl oz of curry.
The samosas were cold, small, and didn't come with any chutney like at most places.
The garlic naan was thick and dry- it felt more like focaccia bread than naan.
The biryani was good, but we asked for medium spice and it was spicier than the "hot" curry we had."

"Vegan Combo with the lentils was amazing. the Plain Naan and Basmati Rice were both fantastic. We will definitely be ordering from here again. However, I recommend staying away from the Vegetable Korma if you prefer savory meals, as its extremely sweet like candy. However, even though I wasn't able to eat it, I could tell that if I did like sweet dinners it would have been good. It also does not have any cream substitute in the base.
Despite the philosophical disagreement about how Vegetable Korma should be made, we will definitely be ordering here again. The food was excellent. Well spiced. Great quality. The rice was fluffy and tasted so good. My husband shared his lentil thing with me and I can't wait to eat it again. Definitely recommend!"

"The Pani Puri was thoroughly delectable. The pani (tamarind water with boondis) was thick with flavor unlike the usual watered down version I've tasted elsewhere. I wish there were more pooris, though. The potato based filling perfectly balanced out the tangyness of the pani and the meethi (dates) chutney.
My only suggestion would be to include more pooris and accordingly some additional quantity of the potato filling.

"I know this place is new & it's a neat concept but our first experience was a little awkward. I chose the lowest sugar level which didn't add any sweetness to the drink. There are many levels so not sure which to choose. The "honey bun" (not pictured) was an actual mini hamburger bun. Not a fan @ $6. What is the Rose City Chai? A description would be nice. My chai came in another store's branded cup which was confusing, I thought it was a wrong order or just a weird way to cut corners. The hot chai was good but had an open hole & spilled en route. We would order again, maybe in store for a better experience & to try the traditional clay cups."

"Korma is my fav dish of ALL time, and East India continues to have the best korma I ever had. If you like Tikka Masala but are looking for something new to try, I'd recommend the Korma! "The Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani did not look anything like the photos and there were no grilled onions, only a side of raw onions on the side. The chicken is also chopped up and not whole pieces as advertised. However, it smells great and the other dishes looked fine. The Tikka Masala Curry Bowl was a good sized portion and the desserts look delicious but I did think I was getting more of the Gulab Jamun. Everything else is good though. For some reason it's just the one Biryani dish that didn't make the mark."
