"My first time ordering but it won't be the last. First, I'll start with my customer service experience. They were out of Oyster Mushrooms so they called to find out how I wanted to proceed. Sounds small but to me that was huge as I've had restaurants not take that extra step and just give me the substitution they want me to have which is unacceptable.
Next the food....the Soul Food Plate was fire but they forgot my cornbread but everything was so good so it made up for it. I'm huge on seasoning and the greens had a really good flavor. Actually, the entire dish was really good and the portion was nice.
The Hot Maple sandwich was soo good. The flavor was amazing. The lions mane had a nice crunch but wasn't over battered, wasn't greasy and it had just the right amount of sauce. Also, I was impressed that the fries were also seasoned nicely. Can't wait to try other menu items. "

The pancakes were fluffy, bacon was cooked as order (not hard), the eggs were slightly overcooked but not by much and the grits were cooked to perfection. Unlike most restaurants were the are sticky or runny.
