"This was my first time ordering from Katie's. I had the Cuban Steak Sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were excellent—hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked.
The sandwich looked great and was a generous size, but unfortunately it missed the mark. The steak was overcooked (well done), making it very chewy and difficult to eat. It also could have used more seasoning. The bread was a little stale, which didn't help, and I wasn't able to finish the sandwich because the meat was so tough.
I'm Puerto Rican and grew up in Florida, so I've had my fair share of great steak sandwiches, and this one just didn't live up to my expectations. I'd definitely be willing to give Katie's another try because the food was hot and fresh overall, but next time I'll either order something different or request the steak cooked medium if that's an option."
