"The good: The Torta Gallegos was absolutely delicious, great combination of flavors and textures, with a nice spicy pickled carrot salad as a side. The 5 Mini Tacos de Asada (you can choose all 5 taco meats individually) were true to what I have eaten in various locations both here in San Diego and in my youth in Mexico, and they were a good value based on food to cost ratio. this is a carnitas place. I did not get carnitas, I got Pozole Michoacano / Michoacan Pozole and Menudo. I only eat Menudo from very specific places because my grandma from Michoacan, always spoiled us with the best menudo, so I often end up dissapointed. In my opinion, both the pozole and the menudo were extremely greasy and the menudo flavor just did not meet expectations.
with that said, everything was packaged very nicely with all the fixings needed to have a delicious Mexican Sunday breakfast so I am sure if you like Carnitas, this place might be a winner. Just dont get the pozole or menudo."

"Everything wasted fresh and well seasoned.
The SIZZLING COMBO comes with shrimp with fajita vegetables and my vegetables were 99% onions. Two little pieces of potatoes and one tiny slice of bell pepper. I love onions but they were barely cooked, still crunchy and so it was too much. Also they don't vent the ToGo containers so my corn tortilla on the taco was soggy. Besides that it was very tasty.
