My favorite is the crispy chicken sandwich & the queso dip w salsa (comes with a HUGE bag of fresh tortilla chils to heal up & warm quickly in the microwave). I also love their potato soup & more recently the white cheddar mac'n'cheese.
My Mom loves their chicken bacon ranch quesadilla. Everything is prepared well & always hot, fresh and crunchy. The only thing I didnt care for was the corn on the cob as it was a bit overcooked for my liking.

"The food doesn't quite look the way it does in the photos - which is a bit disappointing as Cali Stack Burgers is really the only place I know of where the food looks as good as it does in their pictures. Both the ONION RINGS and #19. CHICKEN TENDERS(5 PCS CRISPY CHICKEN TENDERS) appear to have been left in the fryer or oven too long, because they're looking more burnt than edible. The #19. CHICKEN TENDERS(5 PCS CRISPY CHICKEN TENDERS) look like the runty little pieces you find at the bottom of the store bought Foster Farms bag after you've gone through the bigger, fuller chicken strips. But how do they taste? Well, some of the chicken strips were actually pretty juicy and they were great! Unfortunately, not all of them were like that, and some tasted as dry as they looked. As for the ONION RINGS ... well, they definitely taste like they look, dry and crunchy. Again, not sure if it was the way they were cooked, maybe they used a different batter, but they're not as great as they usually are. Perhaps I'm just confused, but I could've sworn that CSB's onion rings were beer-battered and had that smoother texture to them like the O-rings they'd sell at the old Lakeside Café across the street from Allie's FedEx & Knickknack store (and I think maybe Denny's too?), instead of the way they make them at Jack in the Box, Sonic, and similar drive-thru places. The beer-battered version is how I prefer my onion rings, and usually CSB knocks it out of the park... but unfortunately, not this time.
Overall, I consider these to be nitpicks and not a hard and definitive "bad review". I still believe this restaurant is an overall hidden gem and worth eating at."

"No other store on doordash is as consistently delicious, hit and fresh as this store. Santee Carl's Jr has incredible employees in the store and they always make the order perfect if you get it dashed. My son has autism and asks a lot of questions when we do pick up orders, the manager is always so nice. The Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit Combo is super hot, biscuit is never hard, perfect. I get the Double Cheeseburger for my son and it get it plain, add BBQ and onion rings. It's a mini double western. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich isn't that spicy but always hit and fresh. "The food arrived fresh and hot. The best I've ever gotten from here truly. The chow mein had lots of noodles and less cabbage. Usually it has so much cabbage I can't even eat it. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is they did not include sweet n sour sauce for the rangoons. That infuriates me. I need the sauce.
