I recently ordered a curry dish for $23, expecting a hearty, flavorful meal, but what I received was nothing short of disappointing. The description promised a delightful mix of curry with potatoes, onions, and carrots, but in reality, it felt like a sad excuse for a proper dish.
There were merely two tiny pieces of potato scattered in the sauce, and the onions were barely visible, almost an afterthought. The carrots and zuchinni and broccoli were just large, coarse chunks that made it cumbersome to eat. I found myself reaching for a knife just to cut through the oversized vegetables.
For a dish that boasted potatoes as a key ingredient, I was shocked to find so few and nothing of substance. At $23, this meal felt like a total rip-off. I could have found better options for half the price! Overall, I left the experience feeling underwhelmed and incredibly dissatisfied. It’s a real letdown when a meal doesn’t live up to its promise. Save your money and look elsewhere!"

"I'm a picky eater and only like certain types of food. Growing up, I never really ate Indian food because it was never introduced to me, and honestly, the pictures I saw didn’t look very appetizing. That changed when I went to the Taste of Charlotte festival and tried chicken biryani for the first time, it was so good that I immediately wanted to order some from a real Indian restaurant. I looked up Indian restaurants near me and found one I liked. I ordered chicken biryani online, and my total came to $19.76. It would’ve been a little less, but I added a side of raita sauce. For that price, they gave me a huge portion of chicken biryani. The food was delicious and had just the right amount of spice, definitely a 10/10. After finishing all the chicken (3 pieces) and just a little bit of rice, I was already full. I usually manage to eat an entire meal in one setting, but this one meal had enough food to last me two full meals, lunch and dinner."

"The Spicy Beef Pho was absolutely delicious and incredibly comforting. The rich, flavorful beef broth paired perfectly with the tender slices of beef, while the fresh lime and cilantro added a bright, refreshing finish. I was so satisfied that I only ate about half of my bowl before I was happily full.
The only disappointment was the fresh spring rolls. They were mostly lettuce, rice noodles, 4 shrimp, and a couple herbs leaf. At other restaurants, I’ve enjoyed spring rolls that include a better variety of fresh vegetables, such as shredded carrots and cucumbers, along with rice noodles, shrimp, and cilantro. Those have a more balanced texture and flavor.
The photo shows the spring rolls packed in a zip-top bag because I became filled up on the delicious pho. Despite my disappointment with the spring rolls, I would definitely order the Spicy Beef Pho again."

Their hot sour soup wasn't my favorite vegan version in the world, but it was still pretty good. (Did not come with wonton crisps, which was kind of disappointing.) I wasn't crazy about the donuts. I found them kind of heavy and greasy, and the only parts of them that I found enjoyable were those that were coated in sugar, which was kind of hit or miss. So basically one person ate the sugared portions of all 10 donuts in one sitting, which didn't amount to $10 worth, but overall, for a completely vegan place, it was stellar.
