"10" Cup & Char Pepperoni Pizza was great - my dad seemed to enjoy it - good amount of cheese and sauce, lots of pepperoni and perfectly cooked.
However the 10" Cheesy Bread was way overdone and not the kind of "cheesy" one would expect. I added a little more cheese and warmed it at home but definitely was not as good as the crust and cheese on the fig pizza.
The flavors on the 10" Fig Jam & Prosciutto Pizza are great however I can't believe how stingy they are with the arugula. And honestly for take out they should put the arugula in a small separate container to keep it from getting soggy.
The Small Fries were NOT even fully cooked!! I get being soggy because of time in the container but the first one I tasted was like chewy almost - yuck! Even though they looked cooked based on color they were not. Maybe it is an issue with oil temperature?
My daughter liked the Chicken Tendies but I was a bit annoyed that I could not order her a children's meal on the app and had to do a full appetizer portion.

The original Local in Newton was always superb quality but I have had more mixed experiences at this Wayland location.

"We really enjoyed the buffalo chicken pizza. The sauce base was rich and flavorful, and the buffalo chicken had a satisfying crisp to it. The pizza was hearty and filling, perfect for two people. However, the crust was a bit too hard and chewy, which made it slightly uncomfortable to eat at times. Despite that, it was an overall delicious pizza, and we’d definitely consider ordering again."
"The food is always very good here. In fact, it's the best sub shop around this area, but it's not often they are available on DoorDash for no delivery fee. For the disabled folks like me, that's pretty disappointing.
The subs are huge with fresh ingredients that you can taste. If you buy a large sub, it's two meals easy. Their claim to fame, steak and cheese is the best I've ever had and I've been everywhere across this country since including Philadelphia. The burrito's are also very good and large. Their salsa is nothing great and basically diced tomato's, but it works in their burritos. Their pizza is okay, but we don't order it because we prefer wood fired pizza.
You won't go wrong getting something here and we'll order here again if they remove the long distance delivery fee again."

"The new menu additions are fantastic. The chicken is closer to being a true goujon than a tender, which is a *good* thing! Flavorful, marinated and crispy, with genuinely delicious and fresh fries. The pulled pork mac and cheese is dangerously addictive as well."
"The new additions to the menus are not just extremely welcome, they’re very well executed. The Carbonora is silky smooth and the bacon ties it together in a big way. The Chicken Parmesan is delicious, with the pasta arriving perfectly al dente and plenty of it too; the chicken was perfect as well.
The tacos were a pleasant surprise, and I’ll have to try the other three types as well. I didn’t have any real expectations for this, but the balance of flavors between the rich pork, and the cucumber-pineapple salsa really was delicious. Little details like the fact that they grilled the tortilla, the slightly spicy sauce all made it something I’d get again.
I’ve always liked this place a lot, but there’s a limit to how much pizza and wings you can get; with the expanded menu I’m entirely in for a more frequent experience. "
