Lastly was the dessert. The description specifically said 'fresh' strawberries. You can tell frozen strawberries by the color and texture - and I am pretty sure that is what was on the dessert. It didn't taste bad, but there wasn't nearly enough cheesecake filling and I'm not a fan of frozen strawberries. I would not recommend this place. "

"My husband and I have been eating there for 15 years and the quality of the food is top-notch.
Sushi at Ichiban is always excellent. The Pink Lady Roll is one of my favorites and I also got a Philadelphia Roll. My husband got a Tuna Roll, a Yellowtail Roll, a Salmon Roll, and a Spicy Tuna Roll. Even though they are basic Maki, they were terrific as usual. Appetizers are another story. The Pork Gyoza use a different dough than they used to; it's thinner and doesn't taste exactly right. It tastes like Shumai without the shrimp. The Crab Rangoon leaves a lot to be desired -- mostly fried dough and a tiny little dollop of crab-flavored cream cheese in the middle. Not worth $10. The Kani Salad however was excellent! taste was mediocre, it seemed rushed because the sushi rolls were completely falling apart.
Hibachi Chicken was okay, but the portion size was extremely small for how much it cost. I paid $32 for two small round containers with about 5-6 small cut up pieces of chicken in each with rice and veggies. The zucchini was the star of the dish.
