"First timer at Cane's. The first thing I noticed was how the chicken was prepared. It had a slightly thinner coating, but it did not take away from the quality. Some other places have a really thick coat that results in too much crunch, followed by not enough chicken. This one was simply done better. The coleslaw was not spectacular, but a solid choice. The Texas toast was on point, well buttered without getting too soft. The Cane's sauce was a little saltier than expected, but it paired well. The fried rice option is offered but you cannot select it on the DoorDash app. I did type out the request for fried rice instead of fries in the item comments and they did not miss it. 2. Not knowing whether the fish and shrimp are fried in the same oil, I took a Benny right after placing the order and I'm "Feeling Great".
