The jollof rice was perfectly seasoned, the sauce was incredible, and the sweet fried plantains were cooked just right. Even the flavor of the chicken was amazing.
My only disappointment was the chicken portion. Instead of actual pieces of chicken, I received what were essentially two very small chicken drumsticks with no meat, just skin and bones. I was so disappointed I almost cried, especially since I was already halfway back to the Bay Area before I realized it, so there was nothing I could do.
Even with that issue, the food itself was so delicious that I’d definitely like to give them another try. I’m hoping this was just a one-time mistake because the flavors were truly outstanding."
