The star of the show were the Vegan Kidney Beans. The meal comes with rice, roasted vegetables, and plantain in addition to the stewed kidney beans. The rice + vegetables are pretty bland, yet the flavor in the kidney beans makes up for it. I would suggest putting the stew on top of the rice once your food arrives! There were only a few vegetables present, 2 carrots, 2 broccoli, and 3 gren beans, plus 3 plantain.
I also got a Side of Vegan Collard Greens. These were also bland. I'm vegan, yet I do love flavor. I hope they add more seasoning to these moving forward. I might suggest they add the tomato stew as a side we can add to our orders, if it's not already.

The advertised photo shows a full-sized cocktail with a vibrant grenadine layer, cherries, orange garnish, and a premium presentation. Instead, I received two tiny plastic cups that looked like watered-down orange juice with a slight orange tint at the bottom.
There were no cherries, no orange garnish, and virtually no grenadine, so the drinks looked nothing like what was advertised. Even worse, they tasted like there was little to no tequila in them. If these are supposed to be “STRONG” Don Julio Tequila Sunrises, they completely missed the mark.

"The Island Chick is the BEST hot chicken sandwich. Ignore the older reviews. The slaw, sauce and pickles go perfectly with the seasoned chicken (breaded and spiced perfectly). It's not overwhelming, the spice- the right kick. Mac N Cheese has a Smokey taste that is unique and very good. Potato Salad could maybe use slightly less mayo mixture but thats minor. It was smooth and creamy. And the Little Chicks Korean sauce was amazing. Even packaged, the presentation was solid. The taste? As good as it looks. Highly recommend. This beats anything in the Oakland/Macomb area. 9.8/10! "
