Origin Kebabs founder Ali Engin was offered a business at Loganholme's Hyperdome Shopping Centre in the late 1980s.
So he reasoned, why not.
Origin Kebabs was the name of the first store.

I have ordered from here multiple times. I especially enjoy their chole samosa which is as good as what I would get back in India. Their gol gappes arent great neither is their gulab jamun but their rasmalai can be quite nice. Their coconut icecream was especially yum! When reading the review of others I was apprehensive but when I realised that people from India get to eat excellent food for nominal prices as compared to the quality you get here, I understand their agony. I request others to also account for the same when reading reviews of others. And no I am not paid by the store to write this review.

The food was amazing. There was so much Chicken that it was for 2 ppl. The pickled vegetables were great.

Over many years in Vancouver, I have
appreciated this restaurant - from the all-you-can-eat days to today, when the food comes to my door! They ALWAYS get the heat just right - mild does mean mild, but not bland. Try anything on their menu...you will like it!

It's really not tasty. Sabzi is all full with just corns and peas.There is no even a name of cauliflower, capsicum etc.
