OMG! Today was my first time ordering from Auntie Ru. This food reminded me of my mom's cooking. The seafood dressing was all that. Hell everything was a 10 out of 10. The chitterlings were awesome and they are affordable. She gives a big portion but doesn't break your pockets. I'm going back tomorrow! I tried to take a picture but the app won't accept it. Everything was perfect.

I think I may have found a soul food place better than soul food bistro! I ordered smothered Pork Chop (2) The chops were huge and very meaty! The greens and mac n cheese reminded me of how my nana use to make them. I will definitely order again!

Nice portions. The oxtails were tender and seasoned well. The crab dressing is always my fave, just a little burnt at the bottom today

First time eating from here..may be my last..i literally had 4-6 small tough oxtails on a mound of rice that barely had any type of gravy juice..nothing.. Cabbage was good..cornbread tastes old fr..and i ordered the mango pineapple drink which was also awesome..along with the cabbage😒 my opinion..must be a bad day for somebody up there

The fish and the pork chop dinners were so amazingly tasty so delicious and the sides were so tasty too there foods are so flavorful and delicious I love this place I have been trying to find a really good soul food restaurant in Jacksonville and I found it not that I haven't been here before I say 3 other times but it took me since 2004 when I moved down here to really say I found a soul food place like this that tasted like back home in Michigan I love this place and even though they sold out of some of my favorites today I still was happy with my substitutions love this place thank you
