I normally love Barrel, and Boar. Today I was a little disappointed on how dry everything was from being over cooked.

So disappointing, everything at this location is either overcooked or burned, and the portion sizes keep shrinking. The brisket platter included 3 small pieces of dry brisket. I can't defend them anymore.

Well, I should have listened to the reviews.  Overpriced, small portions, and overall pretty devoid of flavor.  The cornbread bites were pretty decent - but came without the honey butter. The hush puppies were tasteless- and also came without the honey butter. The only flavor in collard greens was an overwhelming vinegar flavor.  For $6 I would have expected more mac & cheese - but it's ok I guess because that didn't have much flavor either. (How do you screw up mac & cheese?!). The meatloaf was decent, the mashed potatoes allegedly had bacon in them. The roasted Brussels sprouts were really good, though. So, there was that.  Will definitely NOT be ordering from here again.

The brisket was flavorless, the bread pudding tasted freezer burnt, the hush puppies and fries were burnt, and the Mac was gritty. Portions were pretty disappointing too, 3 little pieces of brisket? No, I kept defending this place and I should not have. Not worth the ridiculous prices.

The items ordered went from bad to worse. The Mashed Potatoes were ridiculously over salted. The Roasted Brussels Sprouts were t cooked throughly along with the Roasted Butternut Squash that also wasn't cooked thoroughly. For only three, relatively straightforward, food items. I was not impressed - especially for the price
