I can only vouch for the fudge cake slice as other family members chose other flavors. Since I'm a chocoholic, I know what a rich and flavorful fudge cake should taste like, and BuddyV's takes the prize!

I ordered a fudge cake slice. As others have said, it checks the box for basic cake, but you could get that at the Safeway bakery. Almost any local bakery will have cake that is tastier and more interesting than this. This one comes in a factory-sealed plastic wedge and has a consistent texture. The main benefit to Buddy V is you can get it delivered via DoorDash. But why not try something better?

pre-packaged and clearly pre-frozen cake. just going to safeway to get a slice of cake there is better.
