Da Hong Pao always delivers the best quality food. The dimsums are very fresh, tasty and hot served . They even gave me free delicious egg tarts. Thank you Da Hong Pao! Recommend this wonderful restaurant for anyone looking for authentic dimsum in town.

I have been looking for good dim sum since moving to DC and this one has ALL of my favorites and more. Delicious flavor, excellent portions, and the food is so fresh and amazing. I would order everything again. My top THREE 17. Salted & Pepper Fried Squid, Clams in black bean sauce, and 52. Deep Fried Sesame Ball

Wow. Wow. Wow. I was absolutely blown away by this place. Maybe it was because I ordered at 9:30 pm and hadn't eaten all day but this was a meal where I was already looking forward to the next time that I'd be ordering - before I was even done with my food. The Steamed Pork & Shrimp Dumpling with Crab Roe and the Steamed King Prawn Dumpling were amazing. Packed with flavor and each bite was better than the last. Based on reading other reviews , I also ordered the Steamed Roast Pork Bun and the Salted Egg Yolk Custard Bun - both amazing. The pork bun reminded me of when I would pick a couple buns up from a local Chinese bakery in between college classes. It tasted the same - if not better. I cant wait to try the food in person if this is how good it was as takeout.

Absolutely wonderful dim sum at a reasonable price. Authentic chinese food (not made up American Chinese food that doesnt exist anywhere in China). Exceptionally rich menu that includes abalone, sea cucumber and jelly fish. My go to dim sum place in DC.

This is my first attempt with the spare ribs. Unfortunately, they had no flavor and they weren't really spareribs. They were chopped up rib tips. More bone than meat. I ordered quite often from this venue. The food is always good. However, they packaged their steamed dumplings and other dim sum items and thin plastic containers today my eggplant stuff with shrimp came in a container that had three cracks in it. I think the items were too hot for the container. It caused my bag to be sopping wet. Luckily the paper bag was housed inside a plastic bag. But it made it very difficult to eat the items that had come through.
