The suya literally had 6 pieces as the serving and the rest of the plate was filled with tomatoes , cucumbers and onions. It was like the veggies was the main course smh. Corn bread was good though. But suya at this place is definitely overpriced for the amount of suya given

I have read so many good reviews, so I was expecting a better experienced overall. Some things were great and others fell very short. The whole tilapia was good, the Panko Crusted Chicken Strips were delicious. The corn bread was simply a corn muffin, decent but very overpriced at $6. The sliders were good, but it doesn't give you a chance to choose which ones online, I wanted the salmon sliders, but when I called to request they said they had already made me the beef burger ones. The goat was very underwhelming and not great quality; very little meat on one bone and nothing but fat on the other, not worth the price at all. The Turkey Wings were so dry and had no sauce like they'd been cooked all day long.
Maybe I'll give it another try in person, but not likely trusting ordering for delivery again.

I don't know what to say about this restaurant. It's been here for a little over a year and never seems to be busy but the food is consistently subpar and slow coming out compared to African food restaurants around DC. Expensive and not worth it. Save your money.

I have been obsessively addicted to African food for the past 4-5 years. Ive tried many places all over the DMV. some of which were amazing,
And some not so great. This is BY FAR THE WORST THING I'VE EVER TASTED IN MY LIFE! Im actually angry how disgusting the food was. The okra soup literally taste and smells like vomit!!! I did not eat it for safety concerns because I'm scared its actually throw up In it because thats the only thing I can taste. (I eat okra stew all the time its my favorite dish) it has a nasty smell also. The Mac & cheese was full of an old smelling liquid that made it taste like old mildew water. So the pasta was either cooked and left to sit in old water without being refrigerated or spoiled mike or something was used. Even my son didn't eat it and he is 7 years old and LOVES Mac & cheese. The rice tast like box Spanish rice not jollof at all! Im so disgusted! We went out in the cold to pick up this food and I spent about $75! The only thing that was even remotely edible was the greasy calamari!. The taste and quality of the food is really concerning. I know people who have eaten here and they said the food was good. However, they have only had the snapper and some beef. Im sad and my money is gone and its to late to get anything else.
