• 9/12/22Wings were top tier, Hooley Mac was delicious, Boxty was just as good the next day. Quesadilla a little hard to handle but very tasty. Prices seem a little lower than most places so this place has supreme value. Packaged well.

• 2/12/23Hooleys is top notch food for La Mesa, probably one of the best local spots we have here. I order from here bout once a month or so, the food is always fresh, cooked well and seasoned good. The cooks here actually put effort into making good dishes. The BLT is a hidden gem here, absolutely fantastic. Mud Pie is a dessert that everyone should try.

• 4/6/22This was one of the best meals I have ever had... I thought I ordered a baked chicken for my lunch break. Boy was I wrong... Whatever this creation of deliciousness is I'm now going to order from here always, I'm also kicking myself for not eating here more often because I was more than impressed. The soup wasn't very good, no flavor. But the Boxty chicken w/ white wine sauce & bacon cabbage was to die for. 5 stars!!!!!

• 30/1/26I love the Corned Beef & Cabbage Boxty! But my husband ordered a sandwich with onion rings and they gave him Mac n cheese instead. I usually love their Butterscotch Bread Pudding (and my husband's actually looked like a slice of bread as seen in the picture), but mine honestly looked like someone had mashed it all up and the threw it in a container; presentation was not appetizing.

• 19/10/25Usually a pretty good place to order from but for some reason the quality is horrible during the weekends. Burger and fries both under cooked and the bacon had to be thrown out. The fries tasted like freezer burned ones you get at the store.
