We had not ordered from Northside Asian Kitchen before. Being it was a "I'm not cooking" night. We decided on NAK. We were pleasantly surprised. The shrimp roll and spring roll were perfect, very tasty and full of flavor. The Beef Lo Mein had great flavor and there was a nice amount of "heat" in the Shredded Pork Szechuan style. The order came much faster than what was promised on the order site and that was just fine with us. We will order from them again!

I ordered the fried chicken wings and shrimp fried rice meal, and a pork egg roll. The food arrived hot and was delicious. Hands down one of the best Asian food I've eaten since I moved to Florida. I've tried several places, and was looking for one that reminded me of home. Northside Asian Kitchen exceeded my expectations. You get large portions, so I had leftovers the next, and the food seemed like it tasted even better. Don't sleep on this place. I will definitely make this my go to for ordering Asian food. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was due to the chicken having so much oil. They took it straight from the fryer to the plate. It needed to rest and let some of the oil drip off. Overall, it was still really good.

The Singapore Chow Mei Fun was excellent. The hot and sour soup was very good, a bit hot for my taste. The chicken wings were some of the worst I have ever eaten. They were tough and rubbery. Won't be ordering them again. I used to get them a while back and they were excellent.

This restaurant is by far some of the best Chinese in Lakeland, Florida. I am picky when it comes to my Chinese food. The Beef Chow Mei Fun is exceptional. Another thing is the next day leftovers were just as delicious.

After all the rave reviews, I was expecting much more. It's just like all the other take out around here. I read so many rave reviews, but I was disappointed!!! Chicken was mostly breading, very little chicken. Sauce should be cooked on the chicken. Egg roll was very good. Lo mein was very good. Probably won't go back though.
