My first time trying the Sesame-Soy Salmon bowl but definitely won't be the last. Everything in it was delicious and perfectly prepared. A++++

The Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp Appetizer was oily. Not drained well. The New England Clam Chowder - Bowl was bland. I've had better coconut shrimp at Outback steakhouse and better clam chowder at other restaurants. Only reason I ordered here was I wanted BOTH and couldn't find another restaurant with both on the menu. I've always liked Red Lobster food before this. Order was delayed in coming by other deliveries. Maybe this affected the food.

the meal was cold. Red lobster needs to change its packaging for deliveries. no reasonable person would expect it's current plastic packaging to keep food warm. the golden fried fish was overcooked making it rather tough.
the mashed potatoes were very dry. they need melted butter or gravy or something to make them a bit moist. the good news for me is that they did not contain potato skins.
I ordered tartar sauce because the website did not indicate that tartar sauce came with the meal. tartar sauce IS included in the meal and therefore I ended up with way too much. the cheddar bay biscuits weren't warm but they were still the best part of the meal.

Both the lobster mashed potatoes and the shrimp were so salty that they were almost inedible. There were fewer chunks of lobster in the mashed potatoes than I had expected. The shrimp arrived on a bed of rice, which I had not expected; that was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately the food arrived cold. I don't know whether that's the fault of the restaurant (poor packaging) or the Dasher (he delivered someone else's food before he delivered mine, which increased delivery time substantially).

the portions were far smaller than when in restaurant and when paying higher cost, a comsumer doesn't expect to get hit on both ends for price AND portion. but the food was delicious
