The Poncho Villa has been a go-to for over 20 years, since I lived across the street from the Tempe location. The red sauce is so tasty! Combo #9 tacos hit, with one beef and one chicken. I alway order a SM Chips and Hot Sauce Combo to stretch the rice and beans into a third, sometimes fourth, meal. My only wish is that Horchata was a delivery option. Yum!

Beef taco had good favor and was not greasy but was kind of small.The combo was very filling. The chicken enchiladas had good flavor but the sauce was only one notch above El Monterey. The rice was not dry and the beans did not taste overly of lard and of being burned. It was very good but ordinary.

Shredded beef tacos did not have any flavor. Ground Beef No Potato Tacos had potatoes and the shells cracked into two.

Cheese Quesadilla was burnt and dry. Pint Beans were good and flavorful. Horchata tasted just like cold milk, no cinnamon flavor. Coke soda was fine. Bean Burro was good, warm. Combo #4 chicken was bland but the beef was good. The Medium Chip Bag tasted stale. Portion amount was good. I would not order again. The food just tasted like it had been sitting for too long.

Me and my fiancé ordered the Pollo Fundido and it was amazing we both loved it and will order again!! The red and green salsa that came with it were so good it tasted very fresh and home made! 10/10
