"I grew up in Trenton (Villa Park) in the 80s and every time I would sleep over at my grandmom's house, we would get a well-done mushroom and onion pie from Gervasio's. For the uninitiated, they used to be in the same building where Killarney's is now. To say that I grew up right between the two infamous Trenton Tomato Pie joints and STILL preferred Gervasio's time and time again is a true testament to how good their pie is. The gnocchi is ok but I got 8 peices? The mac is decent flavor and decent size, ill give it a pass. The empanadas were actually good but still pricy for 2 small ones. My entree was the braised short ribs and the container didn't fit in the bag. The container was on its side so most of the sauce (the small amount that came with the dish to begin with, you will need 3x the amount of sauce for that sand beef) was in the bag which the beef desperately needed. The beef was dry dry. Plus the sauce didn't taste like real demi? I paid almost 45 bucks for it to come mangled, sauceless, with dry Sahara beef. Terrible experience. I regret my purchase. I ordered on a Saturday night during normal dinner hours hoping the meal would be made by the staff that actually cares but maybe this is normal?"

Tried a variety of dishes and most of them were absolutely fantastic. The Hyderabadi Veg Dum Biryani was the highlight — full of flavor, aromatic, and perfectly cooked. The Crispy Chilli Corn was another favorite — super tasty with a great crunch. Really enjoyed the Paneer Chettinad as well — rich, flavorful, and satisfying.
The only miss for me was the Malabar Kothu Paratha — I ordered it extra spicy but it turned out quite bland. Probably won’t order that one again.
