"We have dinner here almost every week on our way to Bar 1642 to hear ragtime music. The menu is huge and everything tastes home cooked. Crazy variety! The best onion rings, salads, burgers, lasagna and enchiladas! Lamb shanks and sirloin tips! I love their liver & onions, my friend gets their blintzes! The staff is welcoming and eager to please. French Fried Zucchini was nice and soft but just the perfect level of crispyness I like. French Fried Zucchini wasn't overly seasoned which was perfect when combined with the ranch. Milk Shake was chocolatey and delicious and not too sweet. I really enjoyed it. Especially during the hot weather we're currently experiencing. If you ask to hold the protein (which you have to call them to request, since they refuse requests on DD app) , they still charge full price. Portions have shrunk. "Living in Glendale, I am familiar with Mediterranean food and all that it has to offer. I rarely give reviews but felt compelled to write this one because of how impeccably good this food is. I got the grilled salmon platter. Ordinarily, I have gotten a platter just like this from other places with serving sizes that were moderate to decent. The serving size is incredibly generous. The rice, salmon, and tabouleh were all well flavored and paired nicely with one another. Everything was tasty but I really want to place emphasis on the rice for sec; it is absolutely DELICIOUS. Some places treat rice as a blank canvas, but this rice could be a star all on its own! If you haven't given this place a try, do yourself a favor; you get more than a bang for your buck. GREAT food. 5/5!"
