No one else goes that extra mile and that's only a minor reason I like this restaurant. Details are important to them and it shows.
I DID want mashed potatoes- but there is a glitch on DoorDash that won't let me get mashed potatoes with any meal from The Pantry. It asks me to make a decision about gravy on them but doesn't give me a button and it won't allow a meal with mashed in my cart at all. I actually tried it with two of the dinner entrees just to see if it would work and the button doesn't. Any other side item can add to an entree- just not mashed. This is an App issue; not the restaurant- I just want them to know.
My husband got the Chicken Terriyaki bowl- with grilled chicken, rice, veggies and pineapple- both of us liked it better than similar bowls you can get at Panera or even a Chipotle. Portions are generous here! You can not beat the consistent high quality of meals being turned out of this restaurant- from breakfast to dinner options they haven't missed a step yet. Def a hidden gem in this area. Again I say; Well done."

"The plastic to go box with warm food inside makes the plastic sweat. When I got my French fries they was not edible. Wet/soggy. other wise the packages worked great. Kids chicken tenders was very good. Sirloin tips eggs grits and pancakes was a HIT like ALWAYS! Will order again. I'll communicate w/staff about FF and I think they will fix that. "Omg! We've been wanting to try LA Diner for years. Found out we could have waited for many more. I know it looks packed all the time, but everyone must be missing their tastebud's. Overall, there is a need for salt, pepper, herbs, and spices!
The veggie omelette had half cooked veggies in it. I've never had a crunchy omelette before.
The corned beef hash did not taste like hash. Don't know what it tasted like...and what was on the top of it? It was weird like melted cheese, but don't think it was cheese! And if it was edible, $6 for two tablespoons? It was nuts to see the portion given.
These items and the others not specified here, all tasted the same. The dishes tasted like old grease, and there was too much of it!
Finally, the French toast was very bland. It tasted like it was was very quickly dipped in egg (like not enough).
