"Whenever I'm in the mood for a good ol' southern meal, this is where I go. The food is fresh, perfectly seasoned, flavorful and there's a great variety of selections for every meal. I had the Homestyle Chicken dinner tonight with green beans, mac and cheese and fried apples for dessert and I'm a happy, happy girl. And what I REALLY love is that they also offer a "sides only" meal. I do a lot of grilling for a week at a time but I'm not always in the mood for making sides throughout the week. Being able to order their Country Vegetable Plate allows me to order two meals worth of sides that I can pair with my meats and I've got a fairly healthy meal with little effort. And because I LOVE sweet potatoes, I'm always on the lookout for places where I can order them. This is one of only TWO places I've found where I can order them. The Loaded Baked Sweet Potato is always cooked perfectly, the flavor is amazing even if you don't get the toppings, and it's a healthier choice than some of the other starchy sides. And their Sugar Plum Tea (Half Gallon)... Oh how I hope they put this on the menu as a regular because I think this has become one of my favorite varieties of flavored tea. "This was my first time trying Smalls, and to be honest, I figured it would just be "another basic burger joint". Instead, I was pleasantly surprised. Their fries arrived still hot and crispy - even after traveling across town. And the portion was very generous. I'd equate it to a large waffle fries from a certain chicken sandwich place... They had good flavor and were tasty on their own. Their queso has a very, very subtle kick to it that worked well with the fries also.
Now, for the featured item: the burgers. I ordered a pair of the regular burgers and one of the bbq bacon jalapeño burgers (no bbq for me). And I was impressed - the jalapeños were flavorful without being too spicy, so you actually got the flavor of the pepper as well as a little kick - more than the queso but still very mild. The burger patty itself was moist and flavorful. The bacon was actually a good chewy bite instead of soggy or crumbly. The bun was soft and buttery. You actually get a really good balance of flavors in each bite. I think what I like most though is that it was just enough for a small appetite like mine. Overall impression? I will definitely order again. Their prices are reasonable, the food is actually good and not just passable. And the service is quick. And bonus - they actually look at the order and get the details right - something far too many places manage to flub up."

"Ordered the Vijayawada Spl Chicken Biryani, Butter Masala, Samosa and Garlic Naan. The Garlic Naan was still nice and warm when it arrived and it was nice and soft, like naan is supposed to be . The garlic was delicious and not overpowering. It complimented our dishes perfectly. The Vijayawada Spl Chicken Biryani was spicy with a lot of flavor. The star of the show was the Butter Masala. It tasted like Indian food I've had in bigger cities. The mild was mild, which is great for me! I ordered extra rice at the suggest of a previous review. I think the side it came with was plenty, unless you like a ton of rice. I love rice but it still would have been enough for me. The Samosas were also very good. I ordered an extra order, assuming it wouldn't be enough. It also was plenty. Overall, the portions of everything we ordered was shareable. We probably could've shared a single app and dish but then we wouldn't have tasted as much delicious food!"
