"This Tri-Tip Dip is the best I've ever eaten; and I've had them all around the United States.
The bread is soft but absorbs and holds the au jou like it was it's only purpose in life. The meat, Swiss cheese and sautéed onions were absolutely perfect in flavor and texture. It's hard to describe perfection... but, this is it!
The au jou was not quite there in quantity. I even checked the bag, expecting a leak. However, everything was dry. So, I'd take half a star off for that. Still, it's a five star meal, if you're in the restaurant and can ask for more.
Lastly, I made the mistake of ordering around 7pm, which is peak ordering time, and disallows having the driver come here immediately. Thus, my fries weren't as warm as I'd prefer. I used the oven to correct this without losing the crisp. Surprisingly, they came out very tasty, with okay crunch. The flavor was a joy. Thank you, Black Bear, for a truly wonderful dinner!"

The Grizz breakfast meal was outstanding! I love the sweet cream pancakes, but the vanilla is slightly strong to integrate with the blueberries completely. Still, very good! I prefer crispy hash browns. However, these were still quite tasty; just missing the crunch.
The eggs were fresh and well prepared. The bacon, on the other hand, was perfection! I haven't had perfect bacon at many restaurants, but this was! The Nuremberger style sausages were okay...a little boring, after everything else. They could benefit from a little spice. I've only had a bite of the Ham steak, as I was out of room. However, I'm looking forward to finishing it up tomorrow.

"Good sized portions, I'll give them that, but... when I pay extra for a side of guacamole I would prefer that 2/3 of it isn't black. When they put it in the container they could clearly see that it was black but they sent it out anyway. The "Fresh Lime Pie" was soggy mush, that didn't resemble the photo in any way.
The "Chicken & Elotes" really was a good portion size, but it was so spicy I couldn't eat most of it. I asked for the mild sauce and it WAS mild and flavorful, but the dish itself was covered in the spicy red sauce... I don't know if the mistake was mine or theirs but when I asked for mild sauce I didn't expect it to be " in addition to" the spicy sauce. I dug to the bottom and ate what I could- the rice was amazing! Lots of chicken, but I can't comment on the "Elotes" because everything just tasted like hot sauce.
I'm trying not to be a total negative Nancy, but if you're sensitive to spice, make it very clear that there is to be no hot sauce in the dish."

"This was our first time ordering from this restaurant. It may be our fault for ordering so late at night, but the pictures and description on the menu looked amazing. Sadly, nothing that we ordered lived up to the pictures or description. To be fair the pictures I am posting are not complete dishes, 1 fish stick and one fish taco were removed prior to the pictures, by someone who didn't want to wait. Nothing in the description said how many Al Pastor fish tacos were in the order, I was expecting two, and then was surprised to see there were three, and even more surprised to see that they were tiny street tacos. The fish is fried and not grilled as described and there was no hint of pineapple or pineapple flavor anywhere in these tacos. On the DoorDash menu, you have to pick a side to go with the tacos, however you also have to pay for that side, so be prepared to pay $3.50 to $5 for a side, or choose no side, which is what I did. The Fish and chips were a little larger than the fish in the fish tacos, and again were fried and not grilled. The malt vinegar mayo that comes with it, is not really a tartar sauce, and doesn't have enough malt vinegar to give it the punch that I was looking for. Plain malt vinegar would have been much better, in my opinion. We might give them another try during regular business hours, but I'm not sure yet. I wanted to post pictures but can't on the computer review, I could the phone app, but then I can't leave the full review. So, for now I can't add the pictures."
